Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Paceva ("we") for your use of Paceva. By creating an account you accept them and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Paceva
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it (some EU countries set the age at 14, 15 or 16). If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms with you. One account per person. You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity on your account; tell us at privacy@paceva.app straight away if you think someone else has used it.
2. Connecting your data
You may only connect watches, Apple Health, files and other accounts that are yours, or that you are authorised to connect. When you connect one, you confirm that, and you consent to Paceva importing its data as the Privacy Policy describes. Watches connect through Intervals.icu (or, if offered, Garmin directly through Terra, under Terra's End User Privacy Policy). These are independent services with their own terms; we can't guarantee they'll stay available or keep sending the same data.
3. What you must not do
- Impersonate anyone, or create an account in someone else's name.
- Connect, or try to connect, a device account that isn't yours, or link your device to someone else's Paceva account.
- Access, or try to access, another person's account or data.
- Share, sell, or misuse sign-in credentials, or use someone else's.
- Probe, scan or test the security of Paceva except as our security policy allows, or interfere with its operation.
- Scrape the service, reverse engineer it, or use it to build a competing product.
- Use Paceva for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and report illegal activity.
4. Not medical advice
Paceva is a training tool, not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Recovery scores, illness signals, zones and race predictions are statistical estimates computed from your data. Predictions are ranges with a stated confidence because they can be wrong, and real results regularly fall outside them. Device readings can be inaccurate. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing a training programme, and stop and seek medical help if you feel unwell. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
5. How results are produced, and AI
Scores and predictions come from automated formulas run on your data, not generative AI. Ask Paceva, and any AI app you connect, use AI models to answer questions about your training. AI answers can be wrong or incomplete: check anything important against your actual numbers, and never treat them as medical advice. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent where.
5a. Sharing
If you create a share link, you decide who gets it and what it includes, and you're responsible for sharing it only with people you trust. You can turn it off at any time. Don't share links to other people's data.
6. Your data
Your training data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Paceva for you. You can export or delete it any time from the Account page.
7. Price
Paceva is in beta and currently free. Features may change while we learn what works. If we introduce paid plans, we'll show you the price, billing period, renewal terms and how to cancel before you're ever charged, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement. Cancelling will be possible online, from your account, as easily as signing up.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Paceva and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms, or with reasonable notice if we shut the service down. If we do, we'll give you a chance to export your data first unless the law or a security emergency prevents it.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Paceva is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted service, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injury resulting from training decisions you make, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero while Paceva is free). Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes
If we change these terms materially, we'll update the version number and ask you to accept the new version before you continue. If you don't accept, you can delete your account.
